Melanee is an incredible young lady. She's a fun and go-with-the-flow Mill Valley High School senior. As of a few weeks ago, she is also a college volleyball commit, headed to play for Baker University! We got together before school started and right before her volleyball celebration dinner to do her senior portrait session. 

Spending the afternoon with her and her awesome mom was fun, a little muggy, and at the end... rainy, so we improvised and lucked out on a few locations.

It looked like it was going to rain all day. Right when I thought we had entirely missed it, a light rain started! Never be scared of days that look like rain, though. We can always dodge what we see on the radar and improvise if it isn't going to be heavy rain. Overcast light is soft and even, which is one of the best conditions for senior portraits, especially outdoors: no harsh shadows, no squinting, just clean color and light on Melanee the whole session.
